Running in the Buttes

I did 10 miles in the Buttes last weekend. It was pretty windy but I really liked running there!

11 miles this weekend!

Happy Presidents Day!

On Predidents Day Janna & I thought we'd  ride bikes in Folsom. Unfortunately the weather had other ideas. It was just a bit too chilly for a bike ride so we did the next best thing...shopping!

We hit the outlets then had lunch and oreo mint shake at Red Robin then we went to Old Folsom and in one little shop it was Christmas!! So cool!

The Proudest Mom in the World!

 Yes! Really!

Sometimes people will spill their issues and problems with their (grown) children to me and I have to really bite my tongue not to blurt out,

 "SUCKS TO BE YOU!"

Because I literally have the best children that a Mother could hope for.

My children are amazing individuals that are successful, well respected, caring, respectful, kind, thoughtful and just a pleasure to know and be with.

Even though their upbringing was at times, not the best, they still have all accomplished so much in their lives.

 That is not what I am most proud of however.

I am proud of the character they have all developed. In their own way they have each one become a person of integrity, and high standards...just good people.

A person who has compassion for the elderly, their family, people in need...

A person who is fair, generous and respected in the community...

A person raising a family to the best of their ability...

Among all their other wonderful traits!

To my sweet and wonderful kids!

Went to the kids on Sunday to watch the Superbowl

 Maya wanted Kitty to eat

 Kitty wasn't really in the mood to eat (prob cause she is knocked up)

 But Maya insisted...after all she is eating for 5...or 6... or more...
